I grew up in Soldotna on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula. As a kid, I worked as a deckhand on drift boats in Cook Inlet and on a beach site in Ninilchik. I met my wife Dianne in Soldotna and we moved to Anchorage in 1985. When the economy crashed in 1987, we decided to return to college and selected Texas A&M University but returned to Alaska to work each summer. We graduated and returned home to Anchorage in 1991.

We live in south Anchorage, near Service High abutted next to the world-class trails of Far North Bicentennial Park. We use the trails daily for hiking, biking, and running. We also enjoy playing at Nancy Lake in Willow Alaska where we have recreational property. We have two grown kids, a dog, and a cat and we are pretty much as average as a typical Alaskan family can be.

Cheryl Foley

Chief of Operations

Cheryl was the first person to join Devery at the agency in 1995. She has held almost every position and now is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the agency. She has been instrumental in establishing the service standards and culture of the agency.

Cheryl moved to Anchorage from Arizona in 1994. During her time here she has raised her 2 sons that are now on their own and living in Anchorage. Cheryl and her husband Tom love working together renovating their home in the Spenard area. When they aren’t working on home projects, they can be found at the bowling alley, exploring the coastal trail, or just watching planes land at Lake Hood.

In the summer they enjoy exploring the beautiful state of Alaska in their motorhome. they enjoy exploring Whittler, Bird Creek, and 4-wheeling with friends in Hope, Alaska. Once the fish start running they take the boat and motorhome and set up camp for the summer at their family’s property in the world-famous Kenai River in Soldotna.

Cheryl enjoys entertaining, traveling, cooking, watching hockey with Tom, and loving on her cats.

Kathryn Hall

I was born and raised in Anchorage, AK. As a kid, I enjoyed our summer camping trips ranging anywhere from up in Fairbanks all the way down to Homer. My favorite camping spot that I have been to by far is in Valdez. There is something magical about all those beautiful waterfalls. I am now married with 2 young children and can’t wait till they are old enough to enjoy the outdoors and all the wonderful experiences Alaska has to offer.

I have resided in South Mt. View pretty much my entire life. I attended Wonder Park Elementary, Wendler Middle School, then East High School where I graduated. My fondest memories are the years I played softball for Polar Little League. Now as an adult with being just a hop, skip, and jump away from Russian Jack Springs and trail access, it is so easy to get out of the house for those leisure nature walks. This neighborhood will always be home to us.

Thomas Betti

Tom has been helping families and businesses with financial services and insurance products since 1993. During Tom’s tenure in the business, he has consistently been a top producer and received numerous national performance awards.

His vast knowledge and passion for the products he sells and the security he provides customers has been a major asset to our team.

Tom is happily married to his wife Debra and with 3 children, 4 dogs, and one cat things tend to be a bit crazy around the house. Tom enjoys spending time with family and exploring the great Alaska outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing.

Bianca Beltran

My family is from Mexico/California, but I was raised in Anchorage, AK. I attended Romig Middle School and graduated from West High School. I played the trumpet all through middle school and high school and fell in love with music. My favorite genre of music is indie rock, but I love all genres. Aside from my love of music I also enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, reading fantasy/ sci-fi books, painting, and watching re-runs of my favorite show F.r.i.e.n.d.s.

I started working with the Devery Prince Agency in December of 2013. I ended up taking a four-year break in March of 2020 to be a stay-at-home mom with my now 7-year-old and 2-year-old sons. It’s great to be back with my work family and feels like I never left!
