Why purchase a Long Term Care Policy from us?
Excellent Rates
We have compared our LTC plans to our competitors, and in nearly every case our plans offered a superior level of benefit and features at a significantly lower cost.
Personalized Plans
Design a plan to suit your individual needs. You have your choice of Home and Community Based Care, Nursing Care, or a policy that combines both.
More Premium Classes
Our plans have three premium classes. More classes result in lower premiums for those that qualify for the best rates. Our classes are; Preferred Non-Smoking, Preferred and Standard.
Indemnity vs. Reimbursement
Our Nursing Home and Assisted Living Facility care benefit is paid on an Indemnity basis not reimbursement. This means that once you go on claim, you are paid the maximum daily benefit everyday no matter what your actual cost of care may be. Those plans that offer reimbursement, require you to submit receipts for the actual amount that was spent each day. Indemnity is far superior to reimbursement.
Up to 50% Discount for Joint Policies
Available to any two people living in the same household. Gender or relationship is not a factor. You simply must live in the same residence.
0,30 or 90 Day Elimination Periods
One time elimination for Nursing Home or Assisted Living Facility. The elimination period is cumulative and vanishing, once you have satisfied the elimination period, you will not have to meet it again.
Inflation Protection Options
Increase your benefits by 5% compounded annually.
Flexible Payment Options
Tailor a schedule of premium payments that suits your financial situation. You can pay up the premium in one lump-sum, pay up over 10 years, or periodic payments until policy cancelled.
Tax-Qualified Premiums and Benefits
Premiums may be tax-deductible, and qualified benefits are received tax-free.
Waiver of Premium Option
Eliminates the burden of premium payments during the time of claim.
Restoration of Benefits
If you select a benefit period other than lifetime, this policy provision will restore claim days already used. If you have a claim, use benefits and then recover and not qualify for benefits for at least 180 consecutive days, the benefit period can be restored to original levels.
